Great Wave Off Santa Cruz​

The fabulous Japanese artist, Hokusai, created a print called The Great Wave Off Kanagawa. It's an image recognized by almost everyone. I created a three-dimensional, ceramic version, approximately one foot square, and then made it a part of a 20-square seascape set off of the amusement park known as the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, California. The first waves are in the process of engulfing the Municipal Wharf.
